Oooohh...Balik Kampung!!

Planning on a long car journey?

I supposed so, especially here in West Malaysia, whenever there is festive season around the corner, highways would be extravagant busy, where all the urban citizen make their way of "BALIK KAMPUNG"

I have to admit that long car journey isn't pleasant at all..especially when u r prone to motion sickness. Here are some tips i would like to share so that your journey is not all about dull sight-seeing..

  • Plan the journey in advance - mark the journey on a map, so everyone can follow the journey progress. Landmarks should be highlighted too.
  • Make regular short stops - Take a break at R&R stations along the highways for a treat. Never force yourself to drive when you are sleepy or in an uncomfortable state like hungry or ill. Do stop on the safe side of the road. Fresh air will revive all of you.

  • Music helps pass time - As the saying goes " let the music heal your soul". I'm sure music can help to rejuvenate your journey. Give everyone in the car a song request to avoid arguements.
Have a safe but fabulous journey with your love ones...remember, safety first and take care!!!
